Course Content:
- Introduction to the Venue and Architectural Overview: Students will learn about the unique design background of the ArtScience Museum. The instructor will introduce the museum’s design concept, structural features, and the symbolic meaning of its “lotus” shape in detail, and discuss the combination of architecture and natural elements to create a futuristic visual effect.
- Field Observation and Architectural Analysis: Through on-site observation, students will experience the structure, materials, and spatial layout of the museum. The course will help students understand the mystery of the combination of functionality and artistry of architecture, and inspire them to think about innovations in future architectural design.
- Art Painting Practice: Students will use the architectural knowledge they have learned to draw the ArtScience Museum. The instructor will guide students to observe the building from different angles, and help them capture the unique form and details of the building, and express their understanding of the building through painting.
