Course Content:
- Exploring the Blueprint of Life – The World of DNA: Students will explore the structure and function of DNA and learn how it controls the growth, development and function of organisms. Through models and interactive games, children will discover how genetic information is passed from parents to offspring and how it determines our characteristics.
- The Mysterious Kingdom of Microorganisms – Bacteria and Viruses: Students will learn the basic characteristics of these microorganisms, how they affect the environment and human health, and how scientists use them to develop new drugs and treatments.
- Ecosystems and Biodiversity – Earth’s Web of Life: The course will emphasize the importance of biodiversity and how we can protect these ecosystems from destruction to ensure the health of the earth and the prosperity of organisms.
- Hands-on Experiments and Practices: Students will conduct hands-on DNA extraction experiments and understand the mysteries of life sciences through group cooperation and reports.
